For the past year and a half, I have been working on projects for Sophie Hoover Productions LLC.
For the past year and a half, I have worked at least two, sometimes three, jobs at the same time. Not anymore.
I just got to a point when I was just too busy with my SHP projects to concentrate on my side jobs, and vice versa.
The first thing you see when you walk into my apartment is a small poster that says "Things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least." One day I walked out of my apartment and passed by that poster wondering, like I did every day, how I would get all of this work done that was piling up. I had to reorient my priorities in my life to position my career back in the direction in which I wanted it to go. And here we are.
I am now officially working for myself full-time and it could not be better. I have primarily been working on projects from past clients, but I am scouting for new clients daily. Because I have had considerable time to get used to my organization system and workflow, my breakthrough into the freelance working world was much easier than it is in other cases.
I would love to get out there and meet more people in the field and meet new clients if you are interested. Shoot me an email and let's go out for coffee or a beer.
